Our Cabinet Painting Process

Great cabinet finishes start with careful prep and protection. We label and remove doors and drawers, protect countertops, appliances and floors, and create a tidy work area to control dust and overspray.

Next, we perform thorough cleaning and sanding to remove grease and shine, repair minor dings and imperfections, and caulk gaps where needed. We then apply high-adhesion primers designed specifically for cabinet and trim surfaces.

For the finish coats, we use professional-grade, low-VOC enamel paints that cure to a hard, smooth surface. Depending on your project, we brush and roll or spray for a factory-like look with minimal texture.

Once the coatings have cured, we reinstall doors and drawers, adjust hinges, and install any new hardware you’ve selected. We complete a detailed final walkthrough with you, making touch-ups and ensuring your new cabinet finish looks clean, even and consistent.
